For the visualization of arbitrary inputs.

General

  • The name of the plot should include the name of the viz node.
  • The viz node dynamic label should reflect the input data.
  • The viz plot should also reflect the input data.
  • Ideally, we would even set it up so that the viz node sim_node_name also reflected this dynamically - so that the Blender image name would sync to the plot, and the node label.

Plotting

  • Implement complex plotting in certain cases that can trivially and unambiguously have ex. overlaid curves.
  • Implement Info-driven planar projection of pixels onto managed image empty (see #31)
  • Live-slice 2D field values onto user-controlled image empty from 2D field.

Data-Based

  • Special visualization modes of particular shapes (possibly containing tagged information to guide viz choice).
  • Pol SocketType: 2D elliptical visualization of Jones vectors.
  • Pol SocketType: 3D Poincare sphere visualization of Stokes vectors.
